Vandana Siew Sankar-Ali
Vandana is a Clinical Psychologist and Child Protection Specialist with over 13 years of professional experience. She works with adolescents, young and mature adults, as well as couples from diverse backgrounds, bringing a depth of clinical expertise to concerns including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, stress management, self-esteem, interpersonal relationships, workplace challenges, life transitions, and parenting.
In addressing these, Vandana provides individual therapy, couples and marriage therapy, family therapy, and group therapy. She also offers professional debriefing services and conducts psychometric assessments to support diagnostic clarity, treatment planning, and personal development.
Trained in multiple therapeutic modalities, Vandana integrates her skills to offer a flexible and responsive approach to care. Her clinical practice is grounded in gentle, compassionate engagement, is deeply trauma-sensitive, and draws on a polyvagal-informed framework, whereby she supports clients in understanding and regulating their nervous systems, fostering safety, resilience, and meaningful change.
Vandana has worked across the private, non-governmental, and public sectors, and brings extensive managerial and executive leadership experience, alongside consultancy work within international development and social justice fields. She is also an avid speaker and facilitator, designing curricula and delivering impactful workshops to a wide range of audiences on psychosocial and leadership topics.
